Pradhan plays a key role. As the head of the village, he must provide overall leadership to the process of ensuring drinking water security for the villages/ households. He is responsible for organizing Gram
Sabha with active participation from
all stakeholders, formation of a
capable VWSC, conflict resolution
in a transparent and just manner.
From department side Junior Engineer in charge for the area from I&PH dept/ rural development department and village agriculture officer, ASHAs play leading role.
