Gender and Sex is not the same.

   Equality and Equity have to be considered different concepts. Equality is what needs to be integrated.

   Women are in most situation less empowered as men. That´s why we have to take a special focus on them.

   Climate change projects are often sensitive to gender aspects.

   A gender assessment and gender action plan helps to reveal the impact of project activities in relation to gender
      aspects, allowing to boost the overall project impact.
